The Hyde Park-Kenwood Food Pantry provides fresh fruit and vegetables, frozen meat/fish and non-perishable groceries to roughly 1,200 people per month. Residents of zip codes 60615, 60653 and 60637 may come pick up food twice a month.
All will be served on their first visit, regardless of residency. If you are looking for food outside of our service area or hours, you can visit the website of the Greater Chicago Food Depository to find additional services. We are always happy to welcome new volunteers to join our team, on Fridays 3 to 4:30 p.m. for setting up or Saturdays 9:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. for food distribution. Please see https://hpkfoodpantry.org/volunteer/ for details and contact information. |
